Construction of filter system for purifying gasification gas based on residual products.
The purpose of the project is to; develop, build and test a filter system that can process product gas from a gasification process so that this gas is prepared for subsequent use. In addition to this, the filter system must be self-cleaning so continuous operation for long periods are possible. The system will also comprise a cleaning column which processes the process water so that this can subsequently be led to sewage.

Operating periods are performed with the Combi-gasifire on granulated sewage sludge and pelleted fiber fraction from a biogas process. The filter function is continuously adjusted so that optimal operation can later be determined. Along the way, gas samples are taken both before, during and after the filtration, so that the function of the filter system can be mapped. The gas samples are transported to DTU Risø where the agreed analyzes are carried out. With the analysis results it will be possible to document the system's ability to collect both hydrogen sulphide and dust. In addition, the optimal operating parameters can be determined.
The status of the Combi-gasifire is that the Proof of Concept model is fully developed and it has been tested at DTU-Risø during a test run in November 2017.
Application; with such a filter system, the development of the Combi-gasifire can be completed and a scale-up of the gasification plant can be initiated.Key figures
